Description
This 3/16″ thick rubber is smooth on one side with slight texture on the other side. It is usually used as midsole. You might cement a topsole to it, then punch holes through these two layers and stitch them together. Finally, cement the midsole to the bottom sole – a rubber-to-rubber bond is stronger than leather-to-rubber. Hopefully, use Aqualim 315 non-toxic cement using this technique – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWqrAleYqL4 – but of course Barge and other shoe cements will work.
