All-vegetable-tanned leather soling with pre-punched stitching holes: A Step in the Right Direction

This vegetable-tanned leather soling is made using the patterns from The Simple Shoemaking Handbook. Both the topsole and the bottom sole are leather. There is a 1/4″ heel, unless you request no heel, please include in comments. The stitch holes shown on the patterns have all been punched out. It has a groove on the bottom so the stitches holding the shoe together are recessed. The edges have been finished with beeswax. “A step in the right direction” is embossed on the soles unless you request that they be left plain.

I suggest that you first order the above book, to determine which size soles to purchase. If you find that none of the sole patterns are workable for you, custom soles are available, please inquire.
