Description
This is lovely leather, it looks like the leather used to make Etienne Aigner handbags. It has just the right drape to make a beautiful pair of shoes. The bottom edge will probably need to be skived if you want to make “stitch-in” shoes since it’s a bit thick, more like 4-5 ounce.
It would make great center-seam and flat/skimmer shoes – if you want to make derbies I think you would want to skive along the edges of both pieces where the vamp and heel piece meet.
The entire piece of leather is usable for shoemaking – there is no belly leather or weak areas.
